Vote for me because, just like you, I want to ditch the current system and replace it with an independent MP who you can talk to directly, who doesn’t have to follow party policy like a mindless robot.
I hear young people worry more about climate change than old people. I am old but instead of worrying about it I have done something. I live on my own in a pub on Exmoor miles from anyone. But I don’t have a car and my pub is net zero and carbon minus. It doesn’t have mains gas or electricity. It is powered entirely by its own solar panels. I would be happy to show you how.
My customers don’t just talk about things they do it. And as we like young people at my pub we dreamt up the project for young people at Petroc to build a plane with old people. The pub followed it the whole way through and you can read how they did it at the pub.
The North Devon manifesto already calls for higher pay and better access to affordable housing. If you have ideas for policies and projects for young people, let me know.
Finally, National Service… what next? Are they having a laugh? I think old people who are fit and healthy who get pensions, should do national service. They can do it part time. It would be good for them (us). Much better than watching daytime telly.
